A Sad Day
I cannot believe it. Michael Jackson is gone. :o( This makes me really sad. He was just going to start his comeback tour too. Its awful but at least he will live on in his music. His music truly is amazing. R.I.P. MJ ...

Writing...
I like to write to release my emotions and ideas. Recently love has been showing its bad side to me and I have written many short snippits of poems about what was happening. One day I hope to share these poems, short stories and novels but until then I can only confide in showing those closest to me. I know writing as a good release and I wish to know who else shares this with me? If not, how do you get over the bad times in your life? Or bad people in your life?

6'oClock A.M.
There is an odd satisfaction of waking up just as the sun is getting ready to raise. Last night as I was reading I discovered I could barely keep my eyes open so I ended up falling asleep at ten o'clock.... I knew I would be asleep fast seeing as I almost fell asleep at seven sooooooo I set my alarm to six and here I am thirty minutes past or well forty now, typing this all to you. I'm debating whether or not to wear a dress today. Its going to be really hot so it might be a good idea but I don't want to seem too dressy... Oh well I think the dress is going on. I haven't told you this but I <3 Dresses!!!
I cannot believe I just hearted an inanimate object....
Oh what the wee hours of the day can bring to you!

ALICE!
Hellllooooooo!
I'm extremely pleased at this moment in time, if you haven't guessed it yet, I've finally bought ALICE IN WONDERLAND! I'm really excited to read it and after I'm done with it I'll be sure to port the verdict for you all to read.
I also bought a book that seemed to really interest me, Far From The Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy. The reviews didn't seem so high on this one but the summery of the book really caught my attention.
I have a few books I must read but I'm unsure of which to start with. I suppose I will finish The Island of Doctor Moreau (maybe watch the movie afterwards) then one of the other two. They don't seem to be hard reads so we shall see.
More art is sure to insue after all these written inspirations. ]
Toodles!

Wow
Hello All,
Okay I'm taking a lazy day because I am feeling unwell. I just watched the movie Coraline, which was directed by my favourite movie directer Tim Burton, and it was amazing! I wanted to see it in theatres but I couldn't get anyone to go. It was so good, I got shivers at some points from the way things were set up. It was great.
ALSO ... On the topic of Tim Burton movies, he is directing or I guess directed ... not sure... ALICE IN WONDERLAND! How odd is that. Me saying I would like to read the book and wah-la Tim Burton is making a movie of it. Amazing!
Third point I want to mention is that I might need to change the name of this blog... :( It appears someone else has the name kmjART even though mine is KMJ Art ... I don't know we shall see.

My Day , Languages and Books!
Hello All.
Today has been a much better day. Sometimes its quite the relief to just sit down, no pressure and talk to someone about anything on your mind. Its helpful.
I thought that this quote spoke out to me so I thought I would share it. Apparently Lewis Carrol is the author of Alice in Wonderland, something I did not know. I would really like to read that book. It seems like it is something I could get into. Summer is coming soooo I think it is time to get back into the reading mode. I am going to be keeping up with my french this summer some how. I also aspire to learn spanish in the near future. Currently I'm learning words here or there from my Mexican friend but if I to be able to speak fluently I need to study! This summer I also need to finsih the novel I'm writing. I know how it is going to end, my charactors just need to take me there still.
So much to stay on top off but I have faith that I will acomplish it.

Urban Something....
This is the crazy piece of art I was talking about? It is showing the mountains and red sun coming for the city in the corner. I used ink and water colour to make this. The colours are really pure and vibrant but in photographing the piece they were mutated. Also the ink seemed to start turning red after I took the photo... I assure you the ink is jet black....
I Promised To Post These
Here are two photos of my paintings I tried to post but they were being stubborn about it...
The Price of Education...
Hello everyone,
I am exhausted. It seems like with learning new things and being a student there is an unwritten rule saying that you are no longer allowed to sleep or rest. I don't know if any know if any of you remember the days you spent in school but it definately is hard work. It seems that I have no time to do anything but dispite that I still managed to create a new piece of art. I'll hopefully have it posted for you all to see soon. It goes along with the mixed media piece I posted in April. I think I may have some sort of urban city meets nature series going ...
I am off to learn the french language and discover new climates and landfroms in geography, then next week I get to review algerbra and straight lines. I cannot wait for the summer to come so I can sleep and go reading in the forests and by the lakes.
